"Welcome to our Garden of Dahlias"

Thank you to those who are repeating orders this year and welcome to those of you who will be our "new" customers this year. We try to bring new and exciting dahlias to the garden each year and delete others, thus keeping a selection everyone enjoys.

The dahlia was first discovered in Mexico by Captain Cortez on the High Mountain Plateau. Seed was taken to Madrid, Spain to be planted and grown. Since then, countries all over the world have grown and developed new varieties we have come to enjoy as the high breeds of today.

We have many dahlia growers here on the west coast who propagate new varieties each year. Meet the gardeners and growers in your area, join a Dahlia Society.
